Internatial SWISS PANFLUTE Seminar

The Panflute students have fun together playing their favorite music in a friendly and familiar atmosphere. Learn from Masters like Damian Luca, Simion Radu, Vasile Iovu or Cornel Pana.

Education:
Graduate of “George Enescu” Music High School, class of 2006, panflute class of Ioan Negura.
Graduate of “Ciprian Porumbescu” National University of Music, in Bucharest, class of 2010, section of interpretation, main subject: panflute, professor Dalila Cernatescu.
Masters student at UNMB, Film department, main subject: panflute.

Activities:
I own 20 Romanian traditional wind instruments on which I play traditional music.

2010
Co-working as a musician in “Globus” State Circus together with K1 band, providing the musical part for acrobatics, dance and training numbers.

2009
- I participated in “George Enescu” festival, together with Cristina Pasa, violin soloist, and Alexandru Virgil, piano performer, and I gave a recital of traditional classical pieces and jazz adaptations.
- I gave a recital, together with Trond Holter instrumental soloist, within the “H2H” (hand to hand) charity concert held at the border of Norway and Sweden for fund raising for helping children in need from Romania.
- I initiated the creation of a “Trio” with Daniel Badoi (piano soloist) and Stefan George (cello performer), approaching the violin and folklore repertoires, as well as Romanian and international religious repertoires.
- Winner of the “Swing of Death” rock concert casting, on the generic topic of the myth of Dracula, initiated by the Norwegian manager, Tom Andreeasen.

2008
- Participation in several shows and concerts together with Trond Holter instrumental soloist – guitar.
- Employed as instrumental soloist for the Folklore National Orchestra of “Valente Umane” Foundation, manager: Nela Pavaloiu, conductor: Maestro Constantin Arvinte, and artistic director: Dan Ionescu
- I played together with Felicia Filip and K1 band in the “Callatis Euro Tour 2008” symphonic ethno-rock tour in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, France.
- I participated in the exhibition of musical instruments of “Expo 2008 Germany”, together with Reghin “Hora” Factory.
- I played folklore recitals, accompanied by “Lautarii” orchestra from Chisinau, conductor: Maestro Nicolae Botgros, as well as by “Ciuleandra” choir from Ploiesti, manager: Maria Tanase Marin.

2007
I participated in ethno-jazz concerts together with Hary Tavitian and Orient Express.

2006
16th – 19th March 2006, daily concerts within the African Arts Museum, Cape Town, South Africa, in the largest international folklore festival, together with other representatives of Romania.
Awarded 2nd place in “Barbu Lautaru” National Contest, 6th edition, Chisinau, chairman of the jury: Petru Neamtu, April 2006.
Participation in the Alumni Concert of “George Enescu” Music High School, Bucharest, director: Prof. Horia Sabin Dragoi, 19th May 2006.
I gave a recital together with Daniela Condurache, Ionut Fulea, Gelu Voicu and other folklore music performers, accompanied by “Vlasceanca” Group, in “Top Navodari” Traditional Song Gala, 27th July 2006
Awarded 3rd place in “Fanica Luca” Flute International Contest Festival, Bucharest, chairman of the jury: Constantin Arvinte, 16th - 18th  November 2006.

2005
Awarded 2nd place in “Festivalul National al Cantecului si Dansului Romanesc” (The National Festival of the Romanian Traditional Song and Dance), 5th edition, Mamaia, TVR1, 2005, chairman of the jury: Elize Stan.
European tour within “Miss Diaspora” caravan, held in Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, May 2005.
I gave a recital at the closing of “Cerbul de Aur 2005” Festival and for the folklore night of the “George Enescu” Festival of September 2005.
Participation in “World Music” Stara Zagora Festival, Bulgaria, 3rd – 7th October 2005, with a much appreciated experiment (Live performance with Gojira & Kosak-electro Dj).

2004
“Diploma of Excellence” for work in classical music (panflute) within Colegiul PRO, class of 2002-2004.
“Certificate of Merit” from “Constantin Titel Petrescu” social-democrate Foundation.
“Diploma of Excellence” and “Distinctia Primariei Sectorului 2” (Distiction of City Hall District 2) for outstanding results in academic and professional training, 4th May 2004, Bucharest.
Awarded 2nd place in “George Georgescu” International contest of interpretation, 12th edition, Tulcea, 27th – 30th May 2004.
“Diploma of Honor” on the celebration of the Cultural Centre of the Ministry of Administration and Internal Affairs, as a token of appreciation to the outstanding contribution to the promotion of culture and arts, Bucharest, 9th June 2004.
Release of the first personal album of folklore themes adaptations, interpreted with traditional instruments in current orchestrations: house, club’ in 2004.
Participation in the concert season “Muzicieni de azi … Muzicieni de maine” (Musicians of today … Musicians of tomorrow), organized by “Romania Cultural”, the Romanian Radio Company, editor: Rodica Sava, 10th December 2004.

2003
Awarded 2nd place in “Cristian Rachitan” National Festival of traditional song interpretation, Cheia, Prahova, August 2003.
Granted the title of “Honorary Member” of the Society for Romanian music and drawing teachers, for outstanding contribution in national cultural activities, chairman: Anton Scornea, 22nd November 2003.
Participation in the concert entitled “Mici muzicieni mari talente” (small musicians, big talents), within Colegiul PRO, chairman Nicolae Manolescu, organized by soprano Mariana Nicolesco.
