Internatial SWISS PANFLUTE Seminar

The Panflute students have fun together playing their favorite music in a friendly and familiar atmosphere. Learn from Masters like Damian Luca, Simion Radu, Vasile Iovu or Cornel Pana.

Damian Luca Romanian musician was the first student of Fanica Luca. He made a very big contribution to the development of the techniques on the Panflute. Working hard and consistent ,but also thanks to a gifted talent Damian LUCA achieved a tehnique on that instrument which is unique world wide ! His repertoire consists of a broad range of musical styles. As a interpreter.he above all distinguishes himself by his unique tehnique when playng classical and folkloristic music. He made many concert-tours in America, Japan, Egypte, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium. At the age of 17 he played in a big show in Olympia, Paris. He played in the Ed Sullivanshow in New York. He played also in Carnegie-hall in New York He has made many LP and CD recordings with different styles of music on them. From Albinoni and Bach to contemporary music (Time to say goodbye and My heart will go on) and Gypsie music In a Month of December 2000 Damian LUCA together with Gheorghe ZAMFIR are recorded a new CD. In his native country -Romania- he has the Title of "Artist Emerite", to be compared with "Sir" in English. He now lives in Brussels and is teacher of the panflute on several music-schools in The Netherlands for 15 years. Damian LUCA is one of Romania's extraordinary great musicians who took over difficult task to present this fascinating instrument,the Panflute, with grand virtuosity all over the world .

He was the special guest of the SWISS Panflute Seminar 2002 and 2003.
